What is Twice-Exceptional (2e) Neurodiversity?

Gifted and Complex: You possess remarkable talents and think differently, experiencing emotions and challenges that set you apart from others.

Intensity and Focus: Your drive can lead to incredible achievements, but the intensity you feel may sometimes overwhelm you.

Struggles with Details: Executive functioning, organization, and focus may be difficult, but they don’t reflect the depth of your intelligence.

Creative Problem Solver: Your unique perspective helps you find solutions that others might never consider, turning obstacles into opportunities.

Guidance for Growth: With the right support, you can embrace your gifts and tackle your challenges, allowing you to thrive and succeed on your own terms.

More Common Than You Think: Up to 5% of school-age children are 2e, and as many as 33% of gifted students may also have learning or developmental differences.

Gifted and in Special Ed: According to NAGC, 6% of students receiving special education services are also gifted—proving that giftedness and disability "challenge" often coexist.
